Reports to: Grounds Manager
Basic Function: The Grounds Associate, under the supervision of the Grounds Manager, is responsible for ensuring that Lovetts expectation for grounds maintenance and service are being met or exceeded by being an active member of the Grounds team.
Position involves, but is not limited to, mowing all turf on campus, removing leaves, tree maintenance and removal, trimming and maintaining all shrubs, irrigation maintenance, cleaning and mulching all landscape beds, trash removal on campus, aerating and fertilizing lawns, pesticide application, daily and routine maintenance of landscape grounds equipment, maintaining landscape/grounds as per the established zones, and operating heavy equipment such as front end loaders, backhoe, large trucks, tractors, Bobcat, reel mowers, limb chipper, and other landscape related equipment.
