                      We are seeking an experienced, poised Human Resources Manager with at least 5 years of experience as a HR Administrator or HR Generalist with a Certified Human Resource Professional designation (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) andinterest in residential construction or real estate. In this role you will serve a contemporary human resource function as a solo practitioner responsible for recruitment, administrative procedures, payroll, salary & benefits administration, company policies, and company culture.

                      The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for:

                      Recruitment/Hiring/Termination

                      • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required.
                      • Conducts employee onboarding and offboarding, and new hire orientations.

                      Administrative Procedures

                      • Maintains employee files and HRIS system (iSolved).
                      • Works with department managers in developing and maintaining updated job descriptions.
                      • Keeps organizational charts updated.
                      • Maintains user access/rights across company platforms.

                      Salary & Benefits Administration

                      • Establishes, updates, and enforces SOPs related to Salary & Benefits.
                      • Executes employee payroll.
                      • Maintains employee's enrollment in benefits.
                      • Coordinates open enrollment meetings and preparation of benefit documentation for employees, assisting with meetings and managing employee participation in all employee benefits.
                      • Serves as primary contact for employees in explanation of overall and employee specific benefits, retirement, 401K contributions to and employee loans from the Company Pension Plan.

                      Company Policies

                      • Assists Managers with writing, publishing, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures.
                      • Ensures compliance with all applicable Federal and State laws affecting human resources, payroll, and personnel Issues.
                      • Enforcement of employment law, Company policy, and EEO regulations (including Employee Handbook).

                      Company Culture

                      • Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.

                      POSITION REQUIREMENTS

                      Education: Bachelor's degree required. Certified Human Resource Professional designation (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
