Our Global HR team partners with our business leaders to attract, retain and develop Hilton's most important asset, our Team Members. What will I be doing?
The Senior Manager, Talent Leadership and Development is responsible for leading the development, communication, and delivery of the North America Talent Management & Leadership Development strategy for Operations, specifically the owned/managed hotels within the US and Canada. You will work closely with business partners including Senior Vice Presidents (SVPs), Area Vice Presidents (AVPs) and Regional Human Resources Leaders, as well as functional leaders on the Global Talent Team, to create and execute against a talent and leadership development strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for the strategic design and advising for Succession Planning, Talent Planning and Mobility, Career Development and Leadership curriculum and programs for property Team Members in the US/Canada, with some additional support opportunities in the Caribbean/Latin America region.
Furthermore, this position will also drive large-scale leadership development initiatives aligned to talent priorities, requiring confirmed project and people management skills. This Senior Manager is also responsible for ensuring Leadership Development solutions are delivered in an effective, culturally sensitive, and cost-efficient manner through the use of technology and other innovative delivery methods, including virtual instructor-led.
What are we looking for?
-Execute and enhance regional Talent Management strategy including talent mapping, talent reviews and talent mobility.
-Lead innovative Leadership Development solutions aligned to identified business and talent needs.
-Build outstanding collaborative relationships with HR partners and Regional Operations leaders.
-Identify critical focus areas for analysis, innovation, development, and implementation of integrated HR solutions that support organizational priorities and goals.
-Balance enterprise and regional priorities to deliver effective, globally aligned solutions that support Team Member performance.
-Plan, execute and implement Operations Leadership Development projects and process improvement initiatives while meeting deadlines and managing to a specific budget.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
-Seven (7) years of related experience in talent management, development and training, and/or Human Resources Consulting roles
-An understanding of Talent Management and Leadership Development in a regional and/or global operations environment
-Intermediate-advanced project management experience
-Travel as needed - up to 25% (2021) or 40% of the time (2022 and after)
