DESCRIPTION -PART-TIME CLASS B / WAREHOUSE

Vanguard Supply Chain Solutions is currently looking for Class B drivers to fill a part time route delivery driver/warehouse associate position working 20 to 25 hours per week.

The Class B / Warehouse Associate position is for you if you have:

• Clean driving record
  
• Great Customer Service Skills
  
• Experience driving a delivery route and backing up to docks and delivery areas
  
• Prior warehouse experience
  
• Ever used a power jack before and/or forklift experience

What an ordinary day looks like

• Early morning start time
  
• Home Daily - 20 to 25 hours weekly
  
• Delivery routes include local and surrounding research, medical and laboratory facilities
  
• Loading and unloading required-30 to 40-pound bags

Warehouse Position Details

• Receive and track incoming shipments
  
• Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
  
• Tag and label stock
  
• Prepare all orders for shipment
  
• Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
  
• Serve as backup driver when required.

Skills and Experience

• Must have 1-2 years prior driving experience
  
• Previous forklift / pallet jack experience a plus
  
• Strong computer skills a plus
  
• Must be available on short notice to fill in when needed (i.e. driver or warehouse call-offs)
  
• Proven record of safe driving
