Facilities Service Technician Job Summary

A growing commercial property group in Grand Rapids is seeking a 1st shift Facilities Service Technician to join their team. This team member will travel via company vehicle to local retailers to complete facilities repair and maintenance work orders. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing company in a DIRECT HIRE role.

Facilities Service Technician Responsibilities

• Complete customer work orders as assigned
• Safely operate a company vehicle
• Provide emergency and unscheduled maintenance as needed
• Cover on-call schedule every other week per the rotation
• Perform a variety of electric and plumbing maintenance as well as other carpentry functions
• Update employees and team on the status of requested maintenance support

Facilities Service Technician Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED
• 2 or more years of facilities maintenance experience
• Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds on a frequent basis
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing, lighting and electrical components
• HVAC knowledge is a plus, but is not required
