              Position Summary

              BDC Agents are responsible for handling outbound and inbound phone calls depending on the specific team that they are a part of. Such teams include Sales Outbound, Sales Inbound, Service Outbound and Service Inbound, all of which possess different opportunities to generate leads/appointments and pursue recommendations. Another team is more focused on relationship building by performing ongoing and timely follow-up with all customers that have visited the sales or service department and those who have purchased, ensuring complete satisfaction. Responsibilities in addition to phone calls vary by team. S/he is responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization. S/he will strive to generate new business and nourish relationships with previous customers to help with customer retention for both sale and service.

              Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities

              • Displays enthusiasm in communications with customers and works to build a rapport with each.
              • Communicates effectively with new and current customers by phone, email, and/or text message
              • Works on keeping customers focused on process and remains in tune to the customers needs/concerns.
              • Handles/completes all assigned calls.
              • Handel general inquiries from customers and direct them to the appropriate person/place.
              • Responds to inquiries in a timely fashion and answers specific questions about vehicles or services for customers helpfully and respectfully.
              • Maintains an ongoing customer database to assist in capturing repeat business for each communication made.
              • Flawlessly tracks communication methods and appointments/recommendations made for each customer.
              • Schedules appointments with interested buyers, maintaining correct and complete documentation.
              • Provides administrative support for all correspondence on promotions, community events, mailers, and notifications
              • Contacts customers on several platforms and process including but not limited to phone calls, E-mail, text, instant message.
              • Projects professional company image in all communications.
              • Multitasks between stores/CRMs and schedulers.

              Education

              • High school degree or equivalent.

              Experience

              • 1-3 years Retail and Customer Service Experience.
              • 1-3 years automotive or call center experience preferred.

              Specialized Skills

              • Strong written and oral communication abilities, including outstanding and grammatically correct interpersonal communication via phone, email, and text message.
              • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
              • Effective time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to multi-task are required.
              • Goal-oriented, results-driven, and self-motivated to complete work correctly the first time without being asked.
              • Ability to remain persistent and professional at all times, especially when handling rejection.
              • Flexible schedule and availability.
              • Ability to work in a face paced environment with multiple interruptions.
              • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to understand and empathize with the customer, provide appropriate resources in a timely manner, and maintain composure in stressful situations.

              Work Hours

              Regular work hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Employee hours vary and are dependent on business needs. The schedule is between the hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The position is 20-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with evening and weekends as needed to satisfy the requirements of the position. Employee hours vary and are dependent on business needs.

              Benefits If hired to a full-time position, the company provides vacation time, sick time, paid holidays, 401(k) employer paid life insurance, health, dental, vision, pet insurance, and company discounts.

              If hired for a part-time position the company provides paid sick time and company discounts. No other benefits are offered.

              Salary: $12.32 - $17.00 Hourly
