POSITION SUMMARY: Assist the Quality Manager in Leading and organizing overall quality activities in support of the BRC Quality Management System and company objectives. Perform quality department functions regarding mass production and delivery to assure quality and exceed customer expectations.

Position Specific Responsibilities:
The QE seeks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes through their participation and leadership in the following areas:

• PQP & PPAP
• Layered Process Audits
• Sub-Supplier development
• Quality Management System (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100D)
• Customer audits and third party audits
• Lean manufacturing principles and methods
• Gauge and fixture evaluation (MSA, Gage R&R, SPC)
• Assist the Quality Manager is day to day activities within the Quality Department.

Education & Experience Required

· High School diploma required, Bachelor degree preferred.

· Minimum three (3) years experience in automotive quality assurance with emphasis in the application of core tools - APQP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and PPAP.

· Experience with rubber is preferred but not required.
