The Operator has the following responsibilities:
-To ensure that materials are produced, packaged, and identified properly and with a goal of satisfying customers..
-To maintain effective communication with assisting, relieving, and/or oncoming personnel.
-To ensure that all employees under their authority, are completing job duties in a manner consistence with the written procedures for the job title.
-Operate the equipment as described in corresponding Work Instruction.
-Ensure all Quality test are performed as needed.
-That all safety requirements, procedures, and equipment are being used properly and all OSHA required regulations are followed.
-To supervise temporary operating employees.
-Must perform certain laboratory tests on product.
-Help perform maintenance on equipment as needed.
-To ensure that work area is kept clean at all times.
-To fill in at other areas when needed.
-Able to trouble shoot problems on beams, mills, ovens, dispersions, compressors
Batch processing & scheduling
-Must be flexible to all shifts
-Forklift/mobile equipment experience
-Must be able to work off elevated platforms
-Basic Math Skills
-Prior experience with office programs
-Hand to hand coordination required.
-Standing up and walking for full shift required.
-Lifting 50+ Lbs. repeatedly required.
-Color perception required.
