Responsible for assisting the Store Manager in supporting effective operations of the store by performing the following duties: 1. The Assistant Manager must be able to perform all Store Manager functions in their absence, including but not limited to: a. Completes daily paperwork and accounting of all company funds. b. Ordering and receiving of any goods or supplies needed for the company business. c. Scheduling and handling of employee issues such as absences and tardiness,etc. d. Assist in the on-going training and discipline of all staff. 2. Prepares products for sales specials, price tags making signs, maintains merchandise displays and goods. 3. Responds to telephone calls and directs customer inquires relating to the management of the store promptly. 4. Maintains the facilities of the store to produce high quality service/products at the lowest possible cost. 5. Ensures customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality service/products, courteous employees and quick response to needs. 6. Follows up and resolves all customer inquiries and/or complaints in a timely manner and advises the Store Manager at earliest opportunity. 7. Executes all employee responsibilities as needed to include assisting customers with selection of merchandise and performing all other related duties. 8. Performs store opening and closing duties as needed. 9. Assists the Store Manager to maintain a program for sound employee relations and safety. 10. Performs other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior retail sales experience required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
