Customer Service experience within a Call Center environment
Microsoft experience as they will be using Microsoft Office including Excel
Healthcare background is highly preferred in a call center, medical records, customer service, etc.
The Centralized Scheduler assesses a large volume of phone calls and requests both clinical and non-clinical in nature while providing superior customer service and maintaining a one call resolution standard.
*Assesses a high volume of incoming calls and requests
*Schedules appointments including but not limited to physicals, office visits, consults, Hospital follow ups and CDL exams for 100+ multi-specialty physicians and other medical professionals.
*Utilizes all resources available to efficiently and effectively assist all callers.
*Transfers/ warm-transfers calls to other departments and/or staff members when appropriate.
*Gathers all pertinent information for requests and relays messages to clinical staff members accordingly.
*Handles emergencies according to specified procedures
*Uses NextGen medical software and Microsoft Outlook on a daily basis.
