                    Job Description

                    The role of 'Head of Client Analytics, Communications, and Research' is critical to the success of the North American Private Bank. This role will be responsible for the ownership and management of a number of strategic initiatives and core functions impacting the Private Bank's client experience and supporting sales management and their Banker teams.

                    This individual will lead a team of team of talented professionals with the mandate to deliver timely, insightful, and actionable analytics that guide our decision making. The position will partner closely with all parts of the Private Bank including sales teams, business managers, product specialists, and marketing. The role will serve as a key interface between the Private Bank's COO office and our sales heads across US and Canada.

                    Our choice candidate will be a detail oriented strategic thinker with a passion for data. This individual will have the ability to simplify the complex and extract key insights and opportunities

                    Key Responsibilities:

                    • Lead and develop a diverse team of professionals based in New York, NY and Tampa, FL
                    • Understand business objectives and the key behaviors that will drive results
                    • Partner with Sales Management to define and track a robust set of key performance indicators
                    • Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting
                    • Implement tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights
                    • Ensure accuracy and quality of all analytics produced
                    • Oversee the production of key sales metrics/processes such as Sales Pipeline reporting, Periodic Account Plan reviews, and other thematic sales activities
                    • Leverage our research capabilities to identify opportunities for growth, and to assist in our client onboarding processes
                    • Oversee the data analyses required to support key client communications
                    • Support ad-hoc analyses related to sales initiatives, product launches, regulatory impact analyses, and more
                    • Become a trusted partner and advisor across the organization in all matters of data analysis
                    • Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance
                    • Keep abreast of industry news and trends


                    • Bachelor's Degree Required
                    • MBA or Advanced Degree Preferred
                    • 10+ years of financial services experience
                    • Advanced competency in MS Excel, MS Access, and PowerPoint is required
                    • Knowledge of visualization tools such as Qlik and Tableau a plus
                    • Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to operate independently and make decisions
                    • Ability to build relationships and partner across a complex organization
                    • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple simultaneous projects
                    • Ability to influence seniors and stakeholders outside of your span of control
                    • Excellent time management, follow-through, and project delivery skills
                    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to simplify complexity
                    • Strategic thinker

                    • Team player
                    • Familiarity with Citi Private Bank and Citi processes is a plus
                    • Prior management experience a plus
