                      Job Description

                      blumshapiro, the largest regional accounting, tax and business advisory firm based in New England, is seeking a Business Developer for its Rhode Island office. Responsibilities will include the following:

                      The Business Developer will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and will operate under the guidance of the Rhode Island Market Leader. This individual will be involved in the development and growth of profitable new business. This position will focus on blum's as-a-service suite of offerings while also supporting blum's general service offerings. Additional responsibilities include the following:

                      • Develop a working understanding of all firm offerings
                      • Meeting agreed upon sales/revenue goals
                      • Managing business development meetings and activities. This includes identifying new opportunities, coordinating/initiating strategic activities and tracking/reporting results
                      • Develop strategies for new business opportunities and associated business cases to meet customer expectations and market demands
                      • Develop partnerships and alliances to support new business development
                      • Develop productive business relationships with internal resources
                      • Align and strategize with partners and managers of the firm on strategic pursuits

                      Experience and Skills:

                      • Proven sales record
