                    The Drug Product (DP) Platform Lead will be responsible for developing the long-term Network Strategy for filling, lyophiization, labeling, packaging and warehousing of all CSL Behring brands. The DP Lead will collaborate across many functions including supply chain, process engineering, manufacturing operations and external supply to ensure that CSLB has the necessary DP capacity in place to support all commercial and pipeline assets.

                    The DP Lead will be responsible for identifying future capacity needs through the Long Term Capacity Planning (LTCP) Process, developing business cases and making sourcing recommendations to the End to End Portfolio Committee (EPC) and the Investment Review Board (IRB) as necessary. In addition to capacity needs, the DP lead will also work closely with the Manufacturing Sites and Global Engineering to ensure that all asset replacement programs are in line with the long term DP strategy for the company.

                    The DP Lead will also be responsible for coordinating the long-term DP strategy between CSLB & Seqirus to ensure the optimal use of our assets while ensuring patient supply.

                    Reporting Relationships:

                    The DP Platform Lead will be an individual contributor reporting into the Head of Network Strategy. The DP Lead will be responsible for forming a cross-functional team of subject matter experts who will support sourcing decisions across the network. In this capacity, the DP Lead will work closely with the sites, supply chain, regulatory, quality and other E2E functions.

                    Responsibilities:

                    • The DP Platform lead will develop and own the long-range capacity model for formulation, filling, lyophilization, labeling and packaging. The DP Lead will coordinate with supply chain, sites, global engineering, external supply and other E2E functions to develop a detailed, 10-year capacity plan for all CSLB assets in support of the Long Term Capacity Planning Process. The DP lead will integrate the 10-year demand signal from the Long Term Demand Process (LTDP) and identify areas of the network requiring additional demand as well as excess capacity. Where capacity is not aligned with demand the DP Lead will lead the Sourcing decision and business case to add or exit capacity as needed.
                    • To support strategic sourcing decisions, the DP Lead will require an understanding of basic financial concepts to be able to challenge assumptions in support the development of business cases.
                    • Form and chair a multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts (operations, regulatory, quality, supply chain, etc.) to support strategic initiatives supporting strategic Plasma projects.
                    • The DP lead will develop and maintain an inventory of DP assets as needed to support capacity and facility assessments such as asset replacement, internal CMO opportunities, product prioritization, etc.
                    • The DP Lead must have strong communication skills and be able to summarize complex business problems into concise presentations for Executive leaders. In addition, the Lead will need to establish excellent working relationships across CSL to ensure the success of the matrixed team of SMEs.
                    • Provide input into the long-term CapEx planning process to ensure the corporate strategy for existing and new products can be supported within the prescribed financial parameters.
                    • Represents Network Strategy on R&D teams as necessary on the development and launch of new devices and presentations. Ensure that E2E operations has the capabilities to support new device launches or partners with External Supply to bring in new strategic partnerships.
                    • Leverage Kinaxis RapidResponse to access Master Data from Supply Chain and model long-term capacity scenarios across the portfolio of CSL products.
                    • Acts as the primary interface with the End-to-End, External Supply team to drive make-vs-buy decisions throughout the DP manufacturing process.

                    Qualifications:

                    • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university with MBA or Masters of Science degree preferred.
                    • 7-years of relevant experience in the life sciences business. Strong preference for experience in Plasma business
                    • Previous experience with and regular interactions within life sciences manufacturing functions; Process Development, Regulatory, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, etc.
                    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex problems into succinct presentations for Executive level endorsement.
                    • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage matrixed teams and gain consensus decisions needed to achieve project success.
                    • Ability to organize and summarize large quantities of data.
                    • Experience working with Kinaxis RapidResponse is a plus
                    • Experience and ability to present and summarize key data and analytics to executive leadership is preferred
                    • Ability to formulate and communicate strategic initiatives for the business and continue to develop and pursue innovative ideas to maintain CSL's market leadership in the Plasma business.
                    • Ability to travel up to 20%
