Full Job Description

Our office is growing and we are seeking a Licensed Customer Service Representative/Agent to become part of our organization! We are an independent agency representing several carriers.

Position Summary:

Assist Agents and/or Associates on assigned accounts, by managing key processes that service clients and internal activities related to these processes.

Role/Responsibility:

  • Main responsibilities include answering multi-line phones, preparing letters, faxes and servicing of existing clients and reconciling daily reports and changes.
  • Additional duties may include issuing certificates of insurance, binders, requesting endorsements, follow up on underwriting requests from companies, follow up on service requests from customers (billing questions, cancellation requests, auto ID cards, etc), quality checking policies and endorsements
  • Act as a team member in assisting the Agent and/or Associates in the servicing of Personal and Commercial Lines accounts.
  • Use the Agency Management Systems to document all transactions and communications.
  • Drafting letters and reports
  • Additional clerical duties as directed by the Agent and/or Associates

Qualification Requirement:

Accept accountability for your quality of work and the work of the team.

Candidates need to have excellent keyboarding and MS Office skills, and be able to work quickly and accurately. The ability to learn and retain new info and a desire to have a long-term insurance career are keys to success with this position.
