CLINICAL NURSE SUPERVISOR PSYCHIATRIC OUTPATIENT CLINIC
The Department of Psychiatry is seeking an experienced outpatient psychiatric Clinical Nurse Supervisor. This new position will be 50% patient facing and 50% administrative, overseeing our outpatient nursing operations and nursing resources (4 RNs, 2 LNAs, 1 TMS Tech). Reporting to the Practice Manager and Inpatient Psychiatry Nurse Manager, the Nurse Supervisor will collaborate with our clinical leadership and Administrative Supervisor to ensure patient and provider needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. This position will lead clinical projects, provide existing program management, support program expansion, and ensure Joint Commission readiness.
The Department of Psychiatry provides clinical care and consultation for the mental health needs of patients in the Dartmouth-Hitchcock system throughout the region. Services include inpatient psychiatry, interventional psychiatry (ECT, TMS, Intranasal esKetamine), outpatient clinics, embedded care, collaborative care, subspecialty consultations and an addiction treatment program. The Department cares for patients from young childhood through the geriatric ages. Our outpatient clinics are located in Lebanon, NH, at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and the River Mill Complex. The clinics are open Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
Postion Summary:
Manages patient assignments and flow within clinic. Provides oversight of patient care to support patient and staff needs. Serves as a lead, clinical resource, role model, and extension of management to uphold institutional priorities, policies and practices.
