Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited:
Work with plant operations, engineering, maintenance and related support staff to define project goals and scope and assist plant staff in managing projects to a successful startup and commissioning. Responsibilities will include making sure projects are completed on time, within budget and performance objectives are achieved.
Initial Assignment:
National Beef is embarking on a $108 million dollar expansion of the fabrication floor in Liberal Kansas. This project is comprised of many elements and is expected to commence in early 2020 and be completed in the 2nd or 3rd quarter 2022. This Capital Project Manager position will be assigned to Liberal KS for the duration of the fabrication expansion.
The Corporate Project Manager will work with technical consultants and equipment experts to define design requirements and evaluate the suitability of the technology, systems or design options considered. Finally, this position will also be expected to manage various construction trades, contractors, vendors and service providers and to integrate regulatory and code compliance requirements into project plans and construction agreements.
