Assistant Director, Community Engagement and Outreach Job Number Full/Part Time Schedule Salary 22506287 Full Time 8AM - 5PM $61,600 - $106,300 Position Information The Assistant Director of the Community Engagement and Outreach (CEO) unit is responsible for the oversight of all aspects and initiatives associated with the recruitment of historically under-represented and minority student populations (URM) for Undergraduate Admissions (UGA) at UC Riverside. In collaboration with the Associate Director of UGA, this position is responsible for developing and executing an annual strategic plan for the CEO unit that is in alignment with the department, Enrollment Services, and campus strategic plans. Under the general supervision of the Associate Director, the incumbent will be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising full-time admissions recruitment specialist and student ambassadors who are responsible for the recruitment of prospective students such as African Diaspora, Native American, and other URM student populations. This position will require some travel (within the U.S.) to help recruit prospective students and yield admitted students from target populations, may participate in consortium travel and conferences, and will provide oversight of various programs. Please note: A presentation will be required as part of the selection process. The budgeted hiring range for this position is up to $76,500. Minimum Requirements Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
