Human Resources Analyst

Under the direction of the Deputy Director, the Human Resources Analyst supports approximately 100 full-time, part time and student employees and is responsible for overseeing all personnel and payroll activities and procedures for the Fowler Museum at UCLA, including but not limited to, preparing and maintaining job descriptions, assisting departments with job recruitments, onboarding, performance management, workers compensation, separation, and training and development. The position is responsible for monthly and bi-weekly payroll, on-line personnel and payroll transactions, and maintenance of a central database of volunteers working across museum departments. The Analyst provides financial forecasts, tracks personnel costs, and prepares documents and reports as required from all fund sources. The Analyst also provides back-up support for the Financial Services Coordinator (Admin. Analyst). The Analyst is also expected to have an active role with AEDI initiatives and training.
Required qualifications include: human resources management and organizational development experience; experience with UCLA-based personnel and payroll systems is preferred.
