    Seated: Los Angeles,California and Northeast


    Reporting to the President of Prospect Medical Holdings, and working with leadership across the health system, the CMO is responsible for the national hospital segment and employed physician clinical performance improvement. This is a highly visible role as a member of PMH's Corporate Leadership team that will collaborate with all segments (hospital, employed physician, IPA, outpatient) of the company. 

    Key Accountabilities & Identified Opportunities:

    • Identify areas to improve clinical performance in the hospital segment and facilitating cooperation between the hospitals and providers.
    • Work with the employed physician segment and independent providers on performance improvement and recruitment.
    • Work with PMH revenue cycle and payor relationship leadership on denial management.
    • Work with the physician recruitment team.

    Education and   Requirements:

    • Medical Doctor ( MD) active and in good standing required.
    • Experience as a CMO or senior leader in a For-Profit Health System with Acute Care Hospitals and Affiliated Physician Groups or Integrated Delivery System.
    • Experience in a For-Profit multi-site organization.
    • Proven success as a leader and P/L owner.
    • Understanding of the key revenue drivers in a health system.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Independent Practice Association (IPA)/ Managed care leadership.
    • Understanding of state and federal healthcare programs across the hospital and managed care industry.
    • Experience in California or the Northeast.
    • Knowledge of behavioral health programs and services.
    • Exceptional work ethic, judgment, emotional maturity, and integrity.
    • Critical thinking and strong analytic skills.
    • Willing to travel monthly or relocate to the Northeast.
