The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for safe, accurate and expeditious put-away of product.
Replenishing of pick slots
Assist with breakdown of product.
Control rotation of product using FIFO method.
Assist in receiving of product when necessary.
Assist in production when necessary.
Keep work are clean and organized.
Follow sanitation and proper food handling procedures.
Crush corrugate daily.
Must be safety / security conscious, adhere to guidelines in the safety manual and report any accidents or incidents to the manager immediately.
Be knowledgeable and follow company policy procedures.
Stand for long periods of time.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills / Qualifications
A solid understanding of warehouse distribution procedures processes. The person will on occasion operate various types of warehouse equipment such as stand-up forklifts, riding pallet jack, hand carts, and cardboard bailing machine. The ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs. consistently and stand for long periods of time is required. The candidate will also be required to perform in other areas as needed. Must have the ability to multitask, plan, and forecast production requirements.
NV Only – must be of legal age to work in an establishment with slot machines. Read, speak, and write English clearly. Being self-motivated and having strong attention to detail are essential traits. Must be available for possible rotating shifts (including nights and weekends) and holidays.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and hear. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Environmental conditions include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor exposure from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
