Health Care Unlimited, Inc. is seeking to employ an experienced and qualified registered nurse willing to join out rapidly growing team of multidiscipline professionals. Our Agency is a Nationally Recognized 5 Star Home Health Care Agency that is Joint Commission Accredited. This opening is for a Registered Nurse needed to work throughout the Rio Grande Valley on a Full-Time basis and be available to work varying shifts including rotating on-call.

Qualified applicant MUST be bilingual (English and Spanish); currently registered and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Nursing; have a minimum of 2 years of home care experience preferably in Adult/Pediatric Home Care Management; possess the ability to perform and document thorough physical and psychological assessments; assess vital signs including body temperatures; possess a valid CPR/First Aid certification from the American Heart Association; and have the ability to pass a mandated criminal background check.

Preferred qualities include familiarity with CCP and MDCP programs; knowledge with the operation of ventilator; experience with pediatric NICU or PICU settings; have a high level of patience, empathy and compassion; have previous management skills, strong decision-making skills, and possess the willingness to learn.

Applicants should also be conscientious, punctual, and reliable; have outstanding customer service and organizational skills; have good communication skills, both written and oral; be able manage their time effectively; be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation; have reliable means of transportation to and from assignments; and possess a ‘sense of urgency’ when providing for the client’s needs all while maintaining a discipline, professional attitude under any circumstances.
