The ideal candidate will be experienced in interacting with end-users and assisting with help desk calls and user access requests. To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed meet the education and work experience required, and must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Other duties, in addition to the below, may be assigned as necessary to meet business needs. Essential Job Functions Answer and log telephone or email inquiries from end-users. Troubleshoot application problems. Recognize and escalate issues in a timely manner. Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved. Log detailed call activity. Review, process, and log system access requests. Communicate with authorizing officials and end-users for access requests. Minimum Required Qualifications Employer-based sponsorship is not available for this position. Four-year college degree or at least 2 years of experience working as a Help Desk Technician. 2 - 3 years of experience working on IT projects as a Help Desk Technician. The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance with the Federal government Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment. Flexibility to work different shifts. MS Office Suite. Preferred Skills Team Foundation Server (TFS). SharePoint Experience with or understanding of business analysis and requirements gathering. ITIL v4 certification.
