General DescriptionDelaware County Community College, a competency-based institution, committed to diversity invites applications for an Executive Director of Recruitment, Admissions and Financial Aid (EDRAF) in our Recruitment & Enrollment Management Office.
The Executive Director of Recruitment, Admissions and Financial Aid (EDRAF) will report directly to the Vice President for Recruitment and Enrollment Management. This position assists in the development and support of the recruitment strategy and enrollment goals of Delaware County Community College. Additionally, this position provides strategic leadership for all recruitment, admissions, dual enrollment and financial aid related programs, services and activities.
In conjunction with the Vice President for Recruitment and Enrollment Management, the EDRAF will provide leadership in the analysis of information and data necessary to formulate strategic college-wide recruitment, admissions and financial aid plans and goals. This will include the development and maintenance of recruitment strategy, materials, and outreach activities to meet the established goals. This position represents the College in public venues by providing presentations and hosting events for prospective students, dual enrollment students, families, and other key partners. Travel throughout the Pennsylvania area will be required of this position. This position oversees the budget and supervision of recruitment, admissions, dual enrollment, and financial aid.

Provide strategic leadership in advancing DCCC's recruitment & enrollment goals in accordance with the College's mission, vision & core values.
In collaboration with the VP, Recruitment and Enrollment Management, provide leadership, strategic direction, and support to the College's recruitment, admissions, dual enrollment, & financial aid offices.
Develop and execute the strategic recruitment and enrollment management plans in an effort to attract and retain diverse student populations.
Represent the College through key recruiting activities and events, such as meeting with prospective students and other guests, high school visits, college fairs, college nights, and other recruitment and outreach programs.
In collaboration with the VP, Recruitment and Enrollment Management and other internal stakeholders, achieve annual net credit goals for the institution.
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to develop and implement marketing and communication strategies, including high impact print, digital & social-media based recruitment, enrollment/marketing activities.
Develop & implement communication strategies to ensure all prospective, inquired, applied, and registered students are kept engaged & informed throughout the enrollment process;
Manage the CRM implementation & utilization.
Conduct appropriate outcomes-driven assessment efforts and provide reports on strategy effectiveness;
Develop, maintain, and execute programs and activities that support the enrollment goals, mission, and objectives of DCCC.
Ensure the effectiveness of all programs and events conducted by the admissions, dual enrollment and financial aid offices.
Assess recruitment, admissions and financial aid services and programs to promote innovation and improvement to keep pace with a rapidly changing, complex, and competitive admissions environment.
Review and revise domestic and international undergraduate admissions applications as necessary.
Build strong working partnerships with Enrollment Management and Student Accounts Offices to ensure seamless transitions for students along the enrollment continuum.
In collaboration with the VP, Recruitment and Enrollment Management, provide data analysis on and remain current of market forces, demographic changes, trends and other factors that might influence recruitment and enrollment in an effort to successfully address those challenges.
In collaboration with the Director of Financial Aid, assess and implement strategies for improved financial aid awareness and participation to ensure the ease of navigation through self-service technology and staff guided assistance.
Provide leadership in the implementation of various technologies to improve inquiry, application, records, and tracking systems, including communications management and workflow processing, as they relate to the enrollment funnel.
In collaboration with appropriate College personnel, identify emerging barriers to lead generation and conversion of inquiries and applicants to enrolled students while developing effective solutions.
Develop effective relationships with the Academic Affairs, Student Affairs and Finance divisions to ensure collaboration and participation in strategic recruitment efforts.
In conjunction with the VP of Recruitment and Enrollment Management, provide oversight for scholarship awards, and manage departmental operating budgets for admissions, financial aid, and dual enrollment.
Ensure compliance with all federal & state admissions regulations relating to recruitment & admissions.
Other duties as assigned.
Management Functions: Provide leadership of department and manage assigned staff through independent judgment and decision-making.
Regularly direct the work of, schedule, and provide staff development opportunities and training to assigned department staff.
Perform supervisory functions for assigned staff such as hiring, firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary counseling, salary recommendations, workload distribution, communication, recognition activities, and employee relations.
Participate in the development of a departmental budget as part of the College's budget preparation process, and operate within budget limitations.
Non-Essential Functions Attend relevant workshops as necessary to maintain professional and technical knowledge, certifications, and licensure.
Facilitates and attends relevant staff meetings to promote communication and execution of goals and objectives.
Completes special projects specific to the function of the department or as needed for the department as directed by the Vice President of Recruitment and Enrollment Management.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum Experience:
5 years of demonstrated successful college recruiting and admissions experience.
3-5 years of demonstrated leadership experience in higher education. Prior experience in a community college setting is preferred.
BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in higher education, sales, marketing or other related field of study is required. Masters' degree is preferred.
Valid Motor Vehicle Drivers' License

Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated success in communicating ideas and goals to influence and inform individuals and groups.
Ability to analyze and re-engineer systems, operations, and procedures, formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
Strong organization skills; including planning, organizing, prioritizing and using time efficiently and effectively.
Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information; use analytical thinking to resolve problems in a timely manner; exercise good judgment and effective decision making.
Proficiency with various software and web-based applications, word processing, spreadsheet, databases, Microsoft Office applications, and college-specific applications (i.e., Banner, Canvas, etc.).
Ability to handle escalations among disgruntled students and staff; implement effective conflict resolution strategies and techniques; deliver excellent student-centered customer service.
