Community Outreach Coordinator POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for the implementation of lead generation and outreach programs and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in the development of marketing activities and partnerships that support the overall branding and enrollment objectives of the organization. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Responsible for supporting and coordinating CHPWs lead generation and conversion through community outreach activities. Engages and educates potential members about Community Health Plan and its products/services. Represents Community Health Plan at marketing outreach events and community presentations, as needed. Represents Community Health Plan at marketing-specific events; including but not limited to community-based organizations' roundtable meetings, conferences, meetings and and tabling at community focused events. Maintain regular contact, visits and relationships with assigned CBOs and CHCs. Conduct CHC and staff trainings on Healthcare Reform and other upcoming programming and products. Lead and promote education efforts and utilization growth of Children First program and other CHPW member facing programs. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations to drive Community Health Plan visibility and enrollment. Ensure the current CHPW brand is used within the communities we serve. Assists other members of the Marketing and Sales team with projects, as able. Ensures programs are in compliance with regulations imposed on marketing materials and practices. Supports the network Community Health Centers with internal and external marketing efforts and serves Sales and Marketing team as a marketing liaison. Complete monthly report on CHPW marketing efforts for CHCs. Non-Exempt - Reporting to work on time and for all scheduled shifts is essential to this position. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and highly relevant experience required Prior Related Experience: Minimum two (2) years working in marketing communications or corporate communications required. Experience with customer relations and vendor management strongly preferred. Employment Eligibility: Candidate has not been sanctioned or excluded from participation in federal or state healthcare programs by a federal or state law enforcement, regulatory, or licensing agency. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to speak a language other than English, preferred. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. Public speaking ability. Knowledge of basic writing principles and tools (AP style, pronunciation, etc). Strong ability to track and manage multiple projects and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly organized with strong time management and project management skills. Ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision. Must have strong interpersonal skills and capability of communicating with a diverse range of individuals through a variety of mediums. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and confidentiality. Knowledge of health care field (state funded or commercial programs) preferred.
