Full-Time Hospice Medical Social Worker Opportunity!!

Heartland Hospice located in DePere, WI is currently recruiting for a full-time Medical Social Worker. As a MSW you will provide psych-social support to our hospice patients and families located in the Green Bay and surrounding areas.  Monday - Friday 8am-430pm schedule with a limited on call rotation of approximately every 6-7 weekend and 2-3 weeknights per month.  

Experience in hospice is greatly desired but will consider health care experience in a multidisciplinary setting. Experience working with clients and families coping with terminal illness and death and experience with community programs is essential. Masters degree in Social Work and license in the state of WI required. 100% daily travel is required and mileage reimbursement is provided.

Educational Requirements

Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.May require licensure or certificate as required by the state, and in good standing. (if applicable)

Position Requirements

Prefer one year experience in a health care setting. 100% travel necessary on a daily basis. Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills. Demonstrated ability to work will with an interdisciplinary team. Excellent communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain rapport with the client and family.
