Provide exceptional customer satisfaction by delivering professional, knowledgeable and helpful information to customers while ensuring maximum profitability for the OPE division. • Sale of whole goods, parts and accessories to customers and provide excellent customer service. • Greet all customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store, help them with their specific needs, and direct customers to products that meet their needs. • Promptly and professionally respond to emails, voicemails and phone calls. • Follow up on new leads and referrals. Keep abreast of current promotions. • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts. Know the procedures for processing paperwork. • Coordinate with other staff members to accomplish the work required to close sales. • Give accurate and current information about the product for all inquiries. If the correct information is not at hand, do everything possible to provide an answer before the customer leaves the store. • Remember to always "use your best judgment", as outlined in the Employee's Handbook. • Increase the customer base by adding new customers. • Begin each workday with a positive attitude and develop a sense of "team" in the sales department and across other departments. • Maintain computer records of the sale of whole goods profits and losses. • Keep the merchandising area, showroom, POP material in pristine condition. • Continually learn technical and product knowledge, maintain awareness of new developments, and study and follow OEM recommendations. • Meet periodically with OPE Manager for departmental overviews of goals and objectives. Discuss promotions and opportunities for the department, as well as, opportunities to exceed expectations. • Evaluate and update sales brochures and displays to make sure they are accurate, timely, and present a quality, professional appearance. Give an accurate count of all sales material to the OPE Manager. • Meet with sales team to discuss issues and opportunities to improve equipment sales. • Meet with the OPE Manager to discuss work performance based upon goals and expectations for preceding month and upcoming month. If needed, work with the OPE Manager to set an improvement process in place. • Maintain positive, professional and helpful character with challenging customers and situations. • Be able to recognize which customers can be helped with their existing equipment information and which need additional information, Be mindful of conserving valuable time, but keeping a professional, helpful demeanor. • The highest degree of accuracy must be maintained at all times. • Exhibit dependability and maintain high attendance standards. • Assist OPE manager and warehouse staff in rotating wholegoods, accessories and parts. • Assist with quality assurance, payment and delivery processes with the warehouse, delivery and clerical staff. • Inform OPE Manager immediately of and issues or potential issues involving customer satisfaction. • Assist in planning and execution of promotions and events. • Maintain knowledge and accuracy in the financing process. • Perform follow-up calls to ensure complete customer satisfaction with equipment and processes. • Actively pursue new customers daily through references, emails of personal phone calls.
• Must be willing to work a normal 40 hours per week, and longer hours, as required, to meet customer demands. • Able to lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs., and work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must be able to alternate working on Saturdays.
