    Job Description

    HW & Associates, LLC Tax Senior Accountant/CPA Job Description The Tax Senior Accountant/CPA will work directly with individual and corporate clients providing tax preparation and planning, efiling, client coordination and communication projects, bookkeeping, and occasional payroll reporting. This candidate will work under the supervision of Firm partners. The primary responsibilities of this position include: Deliver full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within a time frame, including preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, trusts and estates. Build relationships and work with individual and corporate clients to provide accurate and innovative tax planning, consulting and expertise Identify and mitigate tax risks Manage and coordinate tax audits Develop tax compliance knowledge and assist with IRS audits and tax notice response. Handle routine client tax questions and work with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance. Complete tax related research and special projects as needed. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for clients, including some bookkeeping and basic accounting. Participate in client assignments and workflow from beginning to end. Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of client staff to increase customer satisfaction and to strengthen client relationships. Pledge to provide exceptional service to every client by providing individual attention, responsiveness and commitment to understanding their goals and needs. Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct.
