The Chemist is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of chemical inventory and process management, our environmental policies, procedures, practices and compliance reporting. The position is also required to review Pioneer's waste treatment equipment and work with internal and external personnel to make improvements and ensure compliance

Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental management or related technical degree, or sufficient work-related industry experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to get things done through others by building programs and teams.
Ability to interact with all levels of employees - shop floor to senior management and with other third parties such as government inspectors, engineers, and vendors.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to problem solve and drive to root cause solutions for permanent and systemic corrective action.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Experience with software-based EMS preferred.
