HumRRO, a nonprofit organization, consults with and conducts research and analysis for a wide range of federal agencies, commercial businesses, professional associations, state and local government and agencies within the national security community. We are an industry leader in developing high-stakes operational assessments used for both hiring and promotion, and leadership evaluation. We have a rich history of conducting research regarding educational achievement and accountability, supporting human capital initiatives and credentialing programs, conducting personnel research and policy analysis, and conducting survey research. We seek an experienced psychometrician who is a United States citizen to participate in various research studies and projects and serve as a member of a small, close-knit research team. The position requires superior knowledge of psychometric measurement for computer adaptive testing, including item response theory, test equating, scaling, and differential item functioning; experience in manipulating, merging, and cleaning large data files through user-written or user-modified computer programs in SAS, Fortran, and R; expertise in test construction and validation, applied research design, methodology and statistics; ability to ensure technical quality and meet deadlines; strong organizational skills and teamwork skills; and excellent written and oral communication skills. Work location is Monterey, California. If applicants meet all criteria, telework outside this location may be accommodated, but work hours must be compatible with Pacific time zone.
Must be a US citizen due to contract requirements.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Doctorate in educational measurement or quantitative psychology required.
