Job Summary: The receptionist provides switchboard coverage, open and operating promptly at 7:30 a.m. and throughout the day until 4:30p.m. Relief switchboard coverage will be provided for a one-hour lunch. The Receptionist should work with relief coverage to determine appropriate times for lunch breaks. Education and/or Experience Required:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals. Ability to write letters and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all groups of employees, customers, and clients.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic computer knowledge.
