We are looking for a Warehouse Assembly person to accurately perform a variety of functions. Must be able to work with great concentration and care. Must be responsible and comply with all safety and company guidelines. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are also essential.
Read instructions and drawings to interpret measurements and verify specifications.
Determine if all parts are present, locate tools and materials, positions parts and subassemblies.
Assemble components and ensure all parts are fitted and fastened properly, that includes manual assembly with the use of fixtures, tooling, and chemicals.
Manually deburr, polish, and clean parts.
Troubleshoot and report errors as needed.
Complete quality checks and identify items that are in non-compliance or problems.
Maintain inventory and supply orders to help prevent shortages.
Load and unload trucks, sort and stack materials, pick and stock warehouse locations, using forklift equipment.
Use lifts and material handling equipment.
Maintain all packing and shipping documentation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Any other duties assigned by managers as needed.
Reports to Warehouse Manager.
Will train the right person.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
Available to work overtime when needed with prior notice.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Arrive to workstation on time at beginning of shift and from all breaks.
Comfortable standing for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Skilled in operating hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail, may work on assignments that are routine in nature.
Follow standard practices and procedures.
Good communication abilities.
Respectfully take direction from supervisors, overall positive attitude.
Complete work to meet company standards for Safety, Quality and Productivity.
Must be an American citizen (we are an ITAR company).
Reliable transportation.
Benefits
Pay rate depending on experience - $14.00 to $16.00 per hour.
Full time/1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:45 pm (45 min. lunch, 5 min. breaks 9:00 am & 2:00 pm).
