Virtua's IS department is looking to hire a per diem Intern.
Strongly prefer candidates that can work a 40 hour work week (full time), Monday - Friday during regular business hours of 8am - 5pm.
Position requires that you have your own vehicle and a current driver's license. Requires flexible travel to customer/remote sites to complete tasks; home base assignment may vary based on support and project needs. Serves as a liaison for internal customers on issues related to software and hardware capability and performance.
Assists IS Technology Support Specialists with technology installations, configurations and aids in responding to Customer Support calls for software, hardware, peripherals, and other data network devices; interfaces with other IS teams and service vendors to help resolve problems and complete project tasks. Through real-world projects and assignments learns directly from Virtua IT professionals in multiple technology disciplines. Responsible for projecting a professional, friendly, customer service focused image in all customer communication. Develops and maintains productive and professional relationships with other teams within IS.
Position Qualifications Required:
Experience in computer hardware installation, maintenance and repair.
Strong analytical, technical and troubleshooting skills required.
Technical skills may be demonstrated through school, volunteer, or other extra-curricular activities.
Customer focus and positive, can-do approach is critical.
Must have good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
High School Diploma.
Training / Certification / Licensure:
Any additional technical training is a plus.
