        Job Description

        Job Title: Accounting Manager
        Department: Accounting & Finance
        Company: Dimension Development
        Reports To: General Manager or Controller
        Supervises: Accounting and/or Payroll Clerk
        Job Description Date: January 1, 2019

        Job Purpose: Perform Accounting related duties on a professional level and works closely with the General Manager and Corporate Accounting teams, on key projects and organizational initiatives. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: accounts payable processing, daily revenue and cash reconciliations and other related finance projects.

        Job Responsibilities:
        1. Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts for assigned hotels on a monthly basis
        2. Daily Bank Reconciliation for assigned properties
        3. Daily review of hotel revenues and posting in the General Ledger
        4. Review of Daily Revenue and Labor Reports
        5. Weekly Accounts Payable invoice and payment processing and review
        6. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals
        7. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed
        8. Maintains accounting records and compiles reports from the database
        11. Performs other related duties as required and assigned

        Job Qualifications: Describe the minimum qualifications needed to complete the job responsibilities.
        Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred

        • Hospitality industry experience a plus
        • Microsoft Excel, Office (Advanced Experience)
