          Our dynamic, growing, Dermatology practice with multiple locations in New York City is seeking a Medical Call Center Representative. This is a full-time role with weekends required. The Medical Call Center Representative is the face of our practice and first line of contact between our patients and providers.

          Under the supervision of the Call Center Manager, he or she will assist in our commitment to provide our patients with a stellar patient experience by ensuring the highest quality, compassionate, care.


          Job Duties and Responsibilities:

          Provide superior Customer Service to our patients, referral sources, and healthcare providers

          Respond to incoming phone calls and online appointment requests, provide accurate information in a courteous manner

          Serve as a liaison between providers and patients to ensure patient satisfaction

          Collect and accurately enter patient information into the EMR database

          Schedule patient appointments in adherence with providers’ schedules

          Assure HIPAA Compliance and Safety, Securing patient information and confidentiality



          Excellent telephone manners and communication skills are a MUST for this role, as well as the ability to exercise good judgment when handling calls

          Motivated and enthusiastic team player with ability to handle a call center environment, work quickly, and multi-task

          Strong computer, typing, and data entry skills with a sharp attention to detail

          Ability to adapt quickly to change

          Call Center experience is preferred, medical office experience a plus

          Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel and Word

          Basic computer knowledge Microsoft Outlook, Excel, etc

          Medical EMRknowledge – eClinicalWorks is a plus
