Position SummaryManage/administer company-sponsored employee benefit plans, as assigned, as well as their applicable policies and procedures. Partner with other team members to align benefit strategy/plan initiatives with business goals and Total Rewards objectives/plan administration. Essential Job Functions
Oversee assigned benefit plan vendor relationships, including vendor performance, account management, review meetings and onsite visitsUnderstand the utilization/financial analysis of assigned benefit plans, recommending strategies to address trends; review rates/renewals and performance guarantee arrangements/results with benefit plan analystPartner with Health Benefits lead to implement assigned benefit plan changes for company-sponsored benefit groupsPartner with Labor Relations team on healthcare benefits for union-represented associates in company-sponsored healthcare benefit plans, including implementation, administration, and communicationPartner with Associate Communications team and other benefits plan team members to develop, implement and manage assigned benefit plan communication materials, including internal and external communicationsEnsure compliance of federal laws to include, but not limited to Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and Internal Revenue Code applicable to assigned benefit plansUnderstand the laws and their impact to the plans working closely with internal and external legal counsel to develop required notices, plan amendments, plan documents and other required documentationWork with division HR teams and Total Rewards managers, and leave specialist to administer assigned benefit plansTravel to conferences and vendor facilities for meetings, as neededConduct required year-end processes of assigned benefit plansPartner with Legal to file requests for additional registered shares with the SEC as needed.Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications
3+ years of experience in the administration of employee benefit plansAny proven management/leadership experienceExcellent analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detailExcellent follow-up and follow through skillsIndependent decision-making abilitiesStrong ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive informationDesired Previous Experience/Education
Bachelor's Degree5+ years previous benefits administration specifically in assigned benefit plans
