          Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a mid-level Systems Engineering Support Analyst. This individual will join an Applicant Certification team working Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification efforts to meet regulatory compliance requirements for Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) projects. This Applicant Certification team is part of the Systems Engineering group, working modifications on Military Commercial Derivative Aircraft (MCDA) for United States Air Force customer. The individual will interact with other disciplines and stakeholders on a regular basis to research and clarify items relating to regulatory compliance and certification requirements. The role requires the individual to learn and understand complex system interrelationships and track required tasks in a detailed manner. The role also requires proficiency in verbal and written communication to effectively convey certification related issues and facilitate collaboration between various disciplines and stakeholders. Some travel may be required, and there are opportunities for extended periods of time working away from the primary location. This position is located in Oklahoma City, OK.

          Duties will include but not limited to:

          • Maintaining certification plans and technical documents required for regulatory compliance.
          • Utilizing tools and business systems to research, analyze, and compile technical data.
          • Participating in design and test lifecycle, providing input from the perspective of regulatory compliance.
          • Engaging with certification authorities to achieve mutually agreeable solutions.
          • Adapting quickly to changing requirements and successfully performing in dynamic conditions.
          • Building relationships and interfaces with other members of the program, leadership, customers and suppliers to achieve team goals.
          • Receives general direction and works independently to meet program schedule and objectives.

          Work Authorization:
          This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

          Basic Qualifications:

          • Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.
          • Bachelor's degree from accredited course of study and 5 or more years' related work experience; or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master's degree and 3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
          • Experience with aircraft certification and/or regulatory compliance.

          Preferred Qualifications:

          • Active security clearance.
          • Experience as FAA Certification Plan Owner.
          • Experience with MCDA certification.
          • Experience with STC projects.

          Typical Education/Experience:
          Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
