Raytheon Intelligence and Space is looking for a Senior Communication Network Engineer, who thrive on collaboration and in a communal environment to support the Senior Members' systems supporting the Secretary of Defense and/or the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Specifically the Senior Leadership Command, Control, and Communications System (SLC3S) engineering, test and evaluation(ET& E) processes in providing the full spectrum of systems engineering, test and evaluation support to National Leadership Command Capabilities (NLCC).

As the Senior Communication Network Engineer, your activities include assisting in the systems engineering, design and development process, and conducting performance analyses; estimation of the operational effectiveness and suitability of SLC3S communications systems; supporting the transition processes for new or developing systems; identifying shortfalls and needed modifications to current systems and networks; and supporting the changes and modifications to communications equipment or systems necessary to meet readiness and performance goals. Work is in a professional environment in the Washington, D.C. area, with continuing interface with Government personnel (both civilian and military), Government contractors, and other vendors and attendance at Government technical reviews.
Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizen with a current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
Experience, Knowledge, and/or Skills Requirement:
• 6+ years relevant experience working with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) or the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and the Special Air Mission (SAM) aircraft supporting the executive travel requirements of Senior Government Members
• Understanding of the functions and elements of the National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC), the U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Airborne Command Post (ABNCP) aircraft, National Military Command System (NMCS),
