Job Responsibilities: Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Quality Assurance Team Lead to support our team at Joint Base Andrews, MD. Daily Job Responsibilities: * Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum standards and end-user requirements. * Implement processes according to ISO20 standards. * Ensure quality and timeliness of all contract deliverables, reports, metrics and other products as required by the Program Manager and customer. * Ensure implementation of IT service management best practices across the enterprise IT team, for continually optimized operations * Determine the resources required for quality control. * Coordinate with Project manager to ensure problem solution and user satisfaction. * Conduct formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle. * Provide daily supervision and direction to support staff. * Create, implement, enforce and audit processes for Configuration Management (CM), Quality Assurance (QA), Risk Management, and Incident/Problem Management. * Administer problem management and risk management process including the monitoring and reporting on problem resolution. * Ensures adequate product testing prior to implementation. Ensure that proper risk management processes have been executed to include, project, operations, and corporate. * Verify the completeness and accuracy of release libraries before implementation and ensures that correct versions of programs are included in specified releases. * Develop and ensure hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures are followed on hardware and software development projects. * Provides coordination in the analysis, acquisition and installation of hardware, software and facilities. * Manages the training and efforts of a staff engaged in systems and network planning, analysis and monitoring activities. * Perform CM audits on the integrity of the software CM processes * Perform Risk Management assessments and mitigation plans * Provide a high level of assistance to project members and leaders to ensure projects/programs are carried out to plan * Perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications: * Seven to ten years direct experience in the last fifteen years. * Active, in-scope US Government issued: Current Secret Clearance. * Due to the nature of the work and US Government required, US Citizenship is required. Desired Qualifications: * Certifications * Advanced ITIL Certifications * Six Sigma, CMMI process * Security + * PMP * ITIL v3 Foundation * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Strong proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word * Ability to organize and multi-task, ensure organization wide priorities are clear to the contractor team, and follow time-lines are followed. * Ability to work independently to understand and support customer goals with minimal direction. * Experience with establishing and maintaining baselines and change control and conducing configuration audits, status accounting, and reviews * Experience in generating or assisting with the development of CM plans, processes, and procedures * Experience with ITSM Tools (ServiceNow, JIRA) Education: * Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Math, Engineering). With at least fifteen years of general experience of which ten years is directly related experience, a degree is not required.
