Description SAIC is currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in the Panama City Beach, Florida area. JOB DESCRIPTION: * Develops and implements changes to C++ navigation and display software with Windows 10 Operating System for LCAC vehicles. * Integrates new peripherals with ethernet, USB and MIL-STD-1553 interface * Some work may require experience with Ethernet, USB and RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial controllers Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in related field and minimum of two (2) years experience. Six (6) years of experience considered in lieu of degree. QUALIFICATIONS: * Two years software experience in C/C++ development environment.
* Experience with serial interfaces including RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial controllers. * Experience integrating peripherals with ethernet, USB and/or MIL-STD-1553 interfaces. * Experience with analog to digital and digital to analog signal processing and control software
* Experience implementing software changes for Windows 10 for Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessments (IAVA).
* Experience with navigation and charting software and integrating navigation software, navigation chart loading and ethernet based radar services
* Experience working in an agile software development environment CLEARANCE: Applicants selected for this position will require an active DoD Secret clearance, background screening.
