The Accounts Payable clerk performs clerical and accounting duties in conjunction with the accounting team. Duties may include; processing accounts payable, verify accuracy of invoices, confirm account status with vendors, open and maintain vendor accounts, balance statements, contact managers for invoice approval, coding and entering credit card purchases, accounts receivable, answering phones, issuing purchase orders, balancing, compiling, filing, and reporting. This assistant will work from our headquarters, located in Heber City, Utah. This is a full-time position. In addition to the items listed below, this position also requires other various administrative tasks that may include but are not limited to: answering phone, customer service, processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, compiling and submitting reports, typing contracts, maintaining logs, compose and deliver routine correspondence, organize and maintain files, track subcontractor insurance requirements, and all other related items as assigned.
Prior accounting experience required, minimum two years
Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s)
Analytical problem solving
Excellent computer skills are required
Excellent written and oral communication; including spelling and grammar
Strong background with use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and other associated software
Knowledge of the construction industry is very beneficial for this position.
Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles
