Job Description
Up to $16/hr with employer-sponsored health care and 401K for caregiving positions in the Pasadena area! Home Instead Senior Care Pasadena operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week and offers a variety of shifts based on client need. Home Instead Senior Care is a non-medical senior care organization that specializes in companionship and personal care for seniors and special need patients residing in their private residence or in a facility. We are looking for CARING and COMPASSIONATE individuals with or without experience in this field to become a part of our Home Instead Pasadena family and join our mission of enhancing the lives of ageing adults throughout our community.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship
- Light housekeeping
- Meal Preparation
- Medication reminders
- Errands
- Assistance to & from appointments
- Activities of Daily Living such as dressing, grooming, feeding, incontinence care, and transferring
- Specialized care such as Alzheimer's and Dementia Care
Requirements to be a Caregiver:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect
- Available on the weekends
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance, must be able to drive
- Successfully complete the State of California Department of Social Services Home Care Aid Registry requirements, DMV check and drug screen
