                  Job Description

                  CAREGiver/Administrative Assistant

                  Home Instead Senior Care is a non-medical senior care organization that specializes in companionship and personal care for seniors and special need patients residing in their private residence or in a facility. Our business operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week and offers a variety of shifts based on client need. Additional benefits include shifts within 10 miles of our Pasadena office assistance with State of California registration requirements performance-based incentive programs access to free classroom and online training modules to grow your skills and opportunities for career advancement in the senior care industry.

                  The CAREGiver/Administrative Assistant is expected to perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties that support CAREGivers and Office Personnel, to provide the highest quality service to CAREGivers and clients.

                  CAREGiver/Administrative duties include, but are not limited to:

                  • CAREGiver Duties
                    • Companionship
                    • Light housekeeping
                    • Meal Preparation
                    • Medication reminders
                    • Errands
                    • Assistance to & from appointments
                    • Activities of Daily Living such as dressing, grooming, feeding, incontinence care, and transferring
                    • Coverage for last minute call off's
                    • 20-minute wellness checks
                  • Administrative Duties
                    • Client Care log collection & Review
                    • Assemble Care Consultation Folders & Client Care Logs
                    • Create New CAREGiver Welcome Bags
                    • Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner and distribute incoming calls to the appropriate staff members
                    • Perform all other functions deemed necessary

                   

                  Requirements:

                  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect
                  • Ability to perform basic administrative duties
                  • Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to work in the field and return to administrative duties upon returning to the office.
                  • Ability to communicate with clients, office staff and CAREGivers in a friendly and congenial manner
                  • Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance, must be able to drive
                  • Successfully complete the State of California Department of Social Services Home Care Aid Registry requirements, DMV check and drug screen

                   

                  Shifts Available

                  • Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
                  • Monday-Friday 10am-7pm
                  • Thursday-Monday 8am-5pm.
