The Application Architect provides subject matter expertise for assigned products and services across application design, delivery, quality assurance, and solutions. The Application Architect is a hands-on role, performing development andor third-party integration while contributing to the solution's overall application architecture, helping and guiding developers to solve complex technical problems. This role will require knowledge of modern integration techniques, including cloud application integration, development, and orchestrations of REST APIs and Micro services. To be successful in this role, familiarity with Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, and Integration Platforms as a Service such as Informatica is needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Systems Engineering, related fields or four (4) years of related work experience may substitute for the bachelorrsquos degree. Six years in Application Design, Development andor Integration. Other Skills Designing major aspects of the architecture of an application, including components such as user interface, middleware and integration Performing design and code reviews Ensuring that uniform enterprise wide application design standards are maintained Strong hands-on development experience across cloud-based and on premise products.
