The Emergency Services Nurse Supervisor will join an award-winning healthcare facility that boasts medical excellence throughout its 300-bed acute-care healthcare institution. The Nurse Supervisor of Emergency Services will work within a state-of-the-art medical facility that is known for providing many Centers of Excellence, including cardiovascular, cancer, stroke, and joint replacement care. This medical facility has also received the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for their joint replacement procedures and prides themselves of continuously meeting and exceeding quality patient outcomes.
The Emergency Services Nurse Supervisor will join a highly advanced team of emergency medical professionals who are all credentialed in basic life support, trauma care, pediatrics advanced life support, and advanced cardiac life support. The Emergency Services Nurse Supervisor will work within a fast-paced Emergency Department that consists of over 10 bays and just over 10 hall beds. This Emergency Department is fully equipped to treat patients of all ages and is proud to never turn a patient away regardless of ability to pay. The Emergency Department is able to provide diagnosis, care, and treatment onsite for almost all patient cases. In the instance a patient needs to be transferred, this hospital is affiliated with a large health system in the area that is partnered with many service-specific hospitals.
The Emergency Services Nurse Supervisor will have 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care within the emergency department. The Emergency Services Nurse Supervisor will identify goals and opportunities for the defined areas that are consistent with organizational goals. The Emergency Services Nurse Supervisor will be expected to effectively interact with organizational leadership in support of the annual operating plan, hiring and retention, performance improvement activities, and participation on management teams and other committees as assigned. The Emergency Services Nurse Supervisor should have extensive prior knowledge of emergency nursing and should hold managerial experience.
