Haase Inc is a locally owned General Contracting company that renovates historic and new construction properties. We are searching for a Construction Assistant to provide exceptional support to the team. This position requires overnight travel once a week, as well as working in the field and in the office.
Essential Job Functions:
Support the team with subcontractor communications throughout the construction process, via email and phone calls. Must be a self-starter with great organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft, Outlook, Excel and Word are required. Project closeout, assist in close out of the projects, phone calls and packing of documents.
Driver and Runner for job-related errands and job site travel.
Must have the skills to assist the team in scheduling meetings, along with helping the team manage aspects of the job site including cleanliness and quality. Must be able to perform the duties listed above with a minimum amount of supervision after training.
This is a full-time position that will typically involve 45 hours a week. A valid VA driver’s license is required along with a clean DMV record. Construction experience preferred but not required.
