The Clarion Hotel is a 149-room hotel with over 5000 sq of meeting space located conveniently in downtown Portland. We are only 2 miles from the Portland Airport, near the Concord Trailways and Amtrak station, and right on the Route 1 Portland Metro bus route. Walking distance to Thompson's Point, near the Portland Medical District, and right next to all the Portland has to offer, our hotel caters to both business and leisure travelers. We are urgently seeking 2-3 hardworking room attendants who are ready to get to work!
The Hotel Room Attendant creates a positive experience for guests by maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment. You are a valued member of the team and while you work behind the scenes, the hotel could not exist without you. As a Room Attendant, you will change towels, make beds, and clean bathrooms. You will address clients' queries and make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times. The majority of your shift will be spent on your feet, and frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting will be required. The position typically works from 8am-4pm. The right candidates will be flexible and able to work weekends and weekdays as needed. There are 2-3 year round, full-time opportunities available.
In light of the current health situation, we are following all safety and cleaning recommendations from the CDC and using cleaning products recommended by the CDC. Employees are provided masks and gloves and temperature checks are completed daily prior to starting work.

-Have full mobility, the ability to lift, carry, and pull up to 25 pounds, and thrive in a fast-paced environment on your feet and in motion for the majority of the shift.
-Previous housekeeping and/or customer service experience is preferred.
-Authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
-High school or equivalent education is helpful but not required.
