    Job Description

    High Construction Company is looking for a Vice President of Construction to oversee the company's work in the Multifamily / Senior Living segment. This position will include sales responsibility for new projects as well as overseeing and leading the projects operationally. The Vice President of Construction will report directly to the President of High Construction. This position offers an opportunity for continued growth primarily within eastern and central Pennsylvania.

    High Construction began in 1978 providing commercial construction, design-build, and general contracting services in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.

      Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • At least 10 years of experience in the Multifamily or Senior Living market.
    • Well versed in wood frame construction.
    • Experience in contract reviews, operations and P&L responsibility.
    • Knowledge of construction building codes and building methods.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Identify and pursue Multifamily / Senior Living opportunities to a successful closing at a price consistent with company profit objectives. 
    • Continuously gather and evaluate marketplace and competitive company intelligence to keep market and sales plan current and effective.
    • Seek out and identify potential clients in the Multifamily / Senior Living markets.
    • Execute activities required to close sales of outside projects in accordance with annual forecast for volume and profitability.
    • Provide pre-development input of construction techniques.
    • Help establish final construction documents, schedules and budgets.
    • Coordinate plans, specifications, designs, bids to finalize subcontractor scope.
