Kelly Services is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector in Fenton, MO

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

Location: Fenton, MO 63026

Title:  Quality Assurance Inspector

Department: Quality Assurance

Pay rate: $20.00/hour 

Function: This position will require the inspection of all componentry, labeling, etc. to assure compliance with specifications and assist in batch issuance and line clearance activities. The Inspector will manage a label control program; including inventory, accountability, and reconciliation of labels and labeling inventories. They will also perform all in-process QC inspection activities and organize and sample bulk and finished product for validation and release activities.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

1. Inspect of all componentry, labeling, etc. to assure compliance with specifications
2. Manage label control program, including inventory, accountability, and reconciliation of labels and labeling inventories.
3. Perform all in-process Quality Control inspection activities
4. Organize and sample bulk and finished product for validation and release activities
5. Assist in batch issuance and line clearance activities
6. Support Director of Regulatory and Compliance in assuring that requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations are met
7. Other duties, which may be assigned from time to time

Skills and Abilities Required:

1. Knowledge of Federal and State of Missouri regulations.
2. Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing practices, validation methods, inspection, and testing methodologies.
3. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
4. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
5. Strong writing and editing skills.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

1. Associate’s degree in appropriate discipline.
2. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working within Quality Assurance.

Preferred Education and Experience:

1. Minimum five (5) years experience in a regulatory environment.
