Position Summary The Store Applications Administrator is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of store-level applications. They collaborate with business users to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs, minimize end user support, and comply with corporate governance and IT General Controls (ITGCs). Applications Administrators must demonstrate a thorough understanding of store-level technology, security best practices, and technical support escalation. The ideal Store Applications Administrator should be a self-starter with a thorough understanding of retail convenience store technology with experience implementing systems and a track record for continual learning and development. Responsibilities: • Collaborates with business users and team members to develop robust technology solutions that satisfy business requirements. • Store systems administration, knowledge development, and process refinement. • Coordinates the deployment of systems implementations, enhancements, and upgrades. • Develops, publishes, and maintains system documentation and process workflows. • Provides Tier 2 and 3 application support including follow through with root cause analysis and future proofing systems. Desired Skills: • 3-5 years of store support experience, preferably tier 2 or higher • 3-5 years of NCR RPOS administration experience • 1-3 years of PDI Enterprise store level experience Required Skills: • Strong documentation discipline • Ability to analyze business requirements and develop solutions • Demonstrated proficiency with technology implementations
Requirements
Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Related Discipline Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Related Discipline Minimum Experience: 1+ years of end user support or consulting experience within the application of experience Preferred Experience: 3-5 years of NCR RPOS administration experience Licenses/Certifications: Microsoft Technology Associate, Infrastructure (ITIL) Foundations Soft Skills: Strong communication and documentation skills, desire to learn, effective team member Hours & Conditions: 40+ hrs/week Driving Requirement: None Travel: Minimal Physical: Minimal Other: Other / Miscellaneous
