Join Scripps as Director, Business Intel & Mgmt and lead the strategic formulation and intelligence activities related to corporate development and strategic growth for enterprise services. In this role you will identify the gaps, delivering and implementing growth and improvement opportunities across the care continuum including strategic planning, M&A opportunity assessment, feasibility studies, hypothesis testing, marketing assessment, and BI product development.
As Senior Director, Business Intel & Mgmt, you will partner with senior leadership to understand and deliver performance insights and key analytics solutions to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives. Curate, design and maintain an effective repository of national and local market data and information based on purchased, publicly available and internally generated sources and then uses such data to support and drive near and longer-term decisions across a broad range of initiatives.
You will advocate for data-driven decisions, strong data governance, and other initiatives. Provide analysis and recommendations on corporate financial implications of range of strategic and/or operational alternatives. Play an integral role in working with the leadership team to identify and assess options and opportunities and then make recommendations.
Additionally, you will lead, schedule, and troubleshoot technical implementations, from data definitions to models to end user reporting. Build, mentor, and guide business intelligence team to provide BI technical solutions as well as actionable information.
In this role you will also develop and generate ideas consistent with corporate strategy through independent analysis and familiarity with industry and company initiatives. Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
Bachelor's degree with ten years plus experience in healthcare administration, planning, finance or related field.
Able to bring multiple constituents (with diverse interests) together to effectively develop and execute initiatives in the areas of strategy, planning, corporate development, and growth based on data driven decision making.
Creativity in developing strategic initiatives and supporting organization goals and strategies, based upon in-depth understanding of the major and secondary forces impacting national and local health care markets.
High level skills in data analysis, project management, lean, and written and verbal communications.
Ability to operate in an environment characterized by change.
Significant knowledge of present and potential health care services and operations including business models.
Demonstrated experience range of mergers and acquisitions including valuation, transaction structuring and negotiation.
Strategic and analytical thinker with ability to focus on details, synthesize broad amount of information into actionable information for senior executives.
Able to quickly spot issues and develop a recommended approach.

Previous planning experience in health care delivery preferred.
